Heather keeps on running for IHCC

IHCC  would like to thank Heather Russell who ran her second 10k in June, and kindly raised funds to enable our clinics to continue their work in preventing and treating hearing impairment in Uganda.

Heather ran her first ever 10K run in March with her Brother Chris in Milton Keynes.

A few weeks later the opportunity came for another 10K run, this time it was to be held in London on the 30th June.

Heather ran a second race with her friend Caroline hoping to enjoy the sights of London, however she was so engrossed on running and finishing the race she hardly noticed any famous places.

Heather enjoyed the events and is proud of her achievement.

“l decided to run in aid of IHCC and get friends and family to sponsor me. I had an amazing time completing the course and raised £292.50 for a great charity.”
